My studio space!

I am a multi media artist living in a small town on the Pacific Northwest. I’ve been a seamstress, knitter, paper mâché-er, painter, and even a ceramicist for a short period. I have made quilts and sculptures, paper mâché mobiles, weavings on branches, knit dozens of hats, carved stamps, and I made two amazing people who are now grown ups. Also, for a decade while my children were young, I was the owner and operator of a wonderful children’s resale clothing store where I handmade up-cycled clothes and curated an adorable space full of colorful and useful children’s items. After selling it in 2015 I quickly found my new love of art journaling and spent the last eight years journaling my heart out. Along the way while working various jobs, I started a side hustle of painting wood art pieces and making driftwood creations. Recently I learned to create surface patterns from my art journaling and wood illustrations and following my dream of designing fabric and wrapping paper!
